Bitez has one of the widest beachs on the Bodrum Peninsula. Watersports fans are well catered for, as the south east coast is one of the best in the country for windsurfing and sailing.

Turkeys winds make Bitez the ideal spot for windsurfing, sailing and surfing.It is the most popular resort in Turkey for windsurfing and sailing, and is also one of the top windsurfing bays in the World.

In 2004 ‘The Worlds Sailing Competition’ was held in Bitez.  Ambrosia Hotel participated in the orgainization of the event and also provided the accomodation.
